He has a long association with Thomas P. Kane, starting as a partner in Katz, Scoville, Kane & Hartley in 1979. They went on to start their own firm, Kane & Hartley, in 1982.
Education
He graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut in 1971, earning his B.A. in Economics and Political Science. He then received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law School in 1974, graduating Cum Laude.
